Bells For Peace™
In 1981 the United Nations proclaimed the International Day of Peace. A day to be "devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples". The United Nations amended the proclamation in 2001 to include a day of global cease fire and non-violence, and invited all nations and peoples to honor a cessation of hostilities for the duration of the day.
Bells for Peace™ celebrates the peoples of world nations who are themselves/ourselves the forces of peace or war, to stand united on this International Day of Peace, and peacefully demand of ourselves, our brothers and sisters, our religious and political leaders, what is rightfully
our and our children, - WORLD PEACE!
At noon on September 21st the International Day of Peace the United Nations will hold a minute of silence. After this minute of silence at 12.01pm (EST) Bells for Peace, invites the voice of the world nations, its peoples to ring bells, horns, whistles, etc….for one minute in requisitioning and celebrating world peace. United We Can & Will!
Please join us in demanding and celebrating world peace by ringing a bell for peace™ and signing the BELLS FOR PEACE™ petition.
